Heinrich Nagel GmbH & Co. KG is a modern waste disposal company active in four different sections which are interlinked at the final stage of the waste-disposal process.
For almost a century, Nagel company has ensured safe disposal of fallen stock in the region it serves, 356 days a year. Nagel also disposes waste from abattoirs and rural butcheries as well as expired food. Our second line of business is dedicated to processing of Category 3 material, such as bones from freshly slaughtered animals, raw fats, lard and suet. These are processed into basic fertilizer for agricultural use (bone meal with a high phosphate content) and bone fat.
Heinrich Nagel GmbH & Co. KG also disposes used food fats which go through a process of heating, clearing and centrifugation to prepare them for further use in the production of biodiesel or energetical purposes. The fourth section of Nagel company runs a blending plant for the production of feeding fats for for the trading company in Hamburg. The recipes for fat blends are created in cooperation with scientific experts. Nagel also takes care of quality control for its products in its own laboratory. All operations are subject to regular control by a veterinarian.
